THE PROTEST

WE WANT TO BREAK FREE from (but not only) hypocrisy, discrimination, racism, sexism, gender inequity, misogyny, patriarchy, old white manocracy, capitalism, violence, war, climate change... and COVID-19.

"Alien" Giger, Terry Gilliam, Whoopi Goldberg, the Hulk (I was in desperate need to fill some space), Ice Cube, Ice T, Michael Jackson, Amanda Kaffka, Kermit the Frog, Gaston Lagaffe, John Lennon, Gustav Mahler, Marie-Pier Malouin, Corto Maltese, Patrick "Number Six" McGoohan, Moëbus, Ari De La Mora, Chino Moreno, Bill Murray, the Ramones (Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, Tommy), Robocop, Henry Rollins, Laurent Sagalovitsch, Arnold "Terminator" Schwarzenegger, Brian Setzer, Homer Simpson, Michèle Smolkin, Sara Snow, Saïd Taghmaoui, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the Venus de Milo, Waldo, Andy Warhol, Sigourney Weaver, Wolinski, Yellowman, Zorro, a few Anonymous hacktivists, a mummy (I'm not sure why, anyone?), some skeletons (out of my closet, no doubt), some concerned citizens, and 43 Mexican students from the Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers' College.

In the end, this illustration is more populated than the book it was made to cover, with a grand total of 168 protesters!
