BOOKSHELVES

Thanks to Covid those bookshelves were almost 2 years in the making. I started to work on a design during the first lock-up (spring 2020) and then had to put it on hold until my wood workshop finally re-opened (September 2021, a bit later than I was expecting :)). I had been through so many different concepts it felt like those bookshelves would never be anything more than a theoritical exercise.

Inspired by French architect and designer Charlotte Perriand, the final design is minimalist, spacious, can be easily disassembled and reassembled, and received the house cat's unequivocal approval.
